Our Goals
Breeding birds is a sustainable form of conservation and a way to prevent their disappearance. It is culturally and scientifically justified.
Resources
We aim to provide breeders with services to help with all aspects of aviculture.
Membership
Membership is open to all. Our membership is growing steadily, when our numbers make it viable, we will be providing a printed magazine. Whilst we only have digital output, our flat single membership rate reflects this.
Governance
We are governed by a Council of like-minded aviculturists, dedicated to drawing all aspects of the activity together. Headed by 6 trustees with a background of sustained activity in aviculture, we have a wealth of expertise and contacts within the avicultural community.

World-class magazines
A wealth of information brought to you first-hand from breeders and conservationists. The content from our European colleagues and that from the UK is now available in English.
Issue no 5 is out now and members can see it in the member area. Click below to see what our magazines are like.
Conservation Projects
The elusive Brazilian Merganser (Mergus octosetaceus) not only ranks among the most endangered of all waterfowl, but rarest of all birds as well. Possibly fewer than 250 birds remain, and some conservationists fear that even this estimate may be optimistic.
